The Challenge

Stamps By Post is a very successful Royal Mail licensed retailer of postage stamps. The company has been serving its customers for over 25 years, and was passing into the hands of the next generation in this family run firm. With a new generation came a fresh view on running the business, and an opportunity to review how Stamps By Post could serve its customers even better, and stand out in a market well served by bigger corporate providers.

The Transformation

We created a whole new website, with new branding, including an e-commerce platform, enabling customers to order more quickly and efficiently online in just a few clicks. Using marketing communications to inform long standing loyal customers, we were able to engage with them throughout the business transition to help them adapt to the new and easier way of buying stamps. Incentives were offered to those using the e-commerce platform for the first time, to encourage adoption of the new site and purchasing process.

In addition, through a series of targeted marketing campaigns, we attracted a new audience of buyers, growing the business revenues consistently to achieve an overall 25% increase in sales within 9 months. Website traffic and visibility remains high with the site enjoying high organic Google rankings and visits.
